Behold! Elevation N

Ok, well it's not quite finished, but they sure do move fast!  Yesterday the nearly finished the siding, installed the (wrong) garage door, and finished a bunch of other stuff.  On the inside, sheet rock is up, partly taped, wiring, hvac, plumbing all finished, tubs in place.

Anyway, I wanted to show you all today's pic and to say I am glad the house didn't blow away in last night's winds, and that we have all lived passed doomsday to see it :)

  1. It looks really sharp. Perfect color choices in my opinion!

  2. Go Isz Wisz! Go Isz Wisz!

Love the entire brick color and love it on the steps and porch!

Did you opt of getting the window in the living room? It's usually standard in the Rome?

    1. Funny story- the other window in the living room is an option in both ours and Isz Wisz neighborhoods. Believe me! I was surprised after the framing was up that there wasn't a window. Yet another one of those things that we couldn't put in afterwards...oh well.

    2. Ya, I was an idiot and let someone talk me out of the living room window.

    3. Yeah, it's optional in our neighborhood too. I'm glad we didn't get it, since now that we're reversed it would have been an up-close view of our neighbor's house.

  3. Looking good! I really like the garage door. It looks like they've done a lot work and I think we're right behind you! Can't wait to see what the stone looks like now that I've seen how great yours turned out. =)

    1. It could be a standard with the neighborhood, but I believe it is a requirement with Elevation N since it is depicted with the plan. Only thing is, it's actually the wrong door, yes it's supposed to be carriage style, but not arched windows, and it's supposed to have more carriage style ornamentation, like those horizontal barn door iron brackets. But thank you, it does add to the house :)

  7. I thought the roof over the porch was supposed to be metal? Did you opt out or change it? We took a wander through today and can't wait to start on ours! It's looking good!

    1. Good eye! But all is well, the roofer made a mistake an shingled everything ... i am definitely still on track for a metal roof. Also, the front door is a temp until towards the end of they will install a glass door similar to the model :)
