Back to reality
I'm fortunate to be able to make a trip out to the lot daily. And of course, each time I make it out, I take a TON of pics. The progress is moving along, and I'm quite fine with that, as I'm certainly in no rush to the finish line. One thing I did notice, well actually my neighbors noticed it, was the Living Room doesn't have a window. It's funny because when she asked about it, I was certain I had one. After heading home and researching it, yes in fact I asked to have it removed, and I honestly can't recall why! I suppose if it really bugs me, down the road I can add one, but it will have to get in line with the rest of the post-settlement projects :)
The other day I managed to sneak in while the crew went out on break... borrowing Amanda's idea, I've been taking 360 degree portrait shots, putting my camera in overdrive, with the intent of trying out that panorama trick.
Here's a 180 degree of the Dining Room:
Yesterday they started working on the second floor, and I'm headed out again today (10 minutes away), to see more progress!

Looking good!
ReplyDeleteHi! We are actually building a Rome around the corner and up the street a bit from you. We are waiting for my Mom's house to sell since she will be moving into our new basement and then we will start construction. It's exciting to watch the process on your house to get a feel of how it will go for ours. We didn't do the living room window either since we have a piano that will go on that wall. Maybe we will run into you one day on our way by since we currently live in walking distance over in Ashbrook. Anywho, just wanted to say hello. Erin :)
ReplyDeleteHi Erin!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome... and excited to know I've got a new neighbor :) Feel free to stop by the lot and poke around, or if you have a question, just ask.
Any chance you know who is getting the Victoria Falls lot in our hood? Also, what elevation are you getting?
I'm over in Wood Lake, so it's very convenient too (though walking distance would be even better).
We are also doing the N with a different color scheme. No idea who is building the VF although you think I would know from how often I've been in the model. :) I think we saw you one day when we were coming to meet with Aaron. I am so anxious to get started so I hope my Mom's house sells quick. At the rate I'm going we will be living out of boxes far too soon. :)
