Needless to say I fought it, and got my lower rate, which didn't make my LO very happy since they had to pay for the buy down back to where it should have been previously locked. Yikes! <br /><br />I'm glad to hear everything worked out for you! <br /><br />P.S. my husbands score tanked over 40 points in 3 months, and no one can figure out why. Thank God we are going VA, and the UW didn't request another credit report. Some lenders had slightly better deals but if you include all the lender credits and about 10k in closing costs (this is our incentive) no one could compete with NVR's bottom line. If you take out the credits and closing costs incentive, yes there are better deals to be had out there.
